I want to THANK YOU for visiting our website, as we want to ensure that our community knows about its fire department.

As you may not know, our fire department was incorporated in 1979 as a department that only provided fire protection services. We have evolved from an organization solely focused on fire fighting, to one that leads the way in first response to emergency incidents with now providing medically trained personnel. We are also training in the discipline of rescue, so when someone in our community needs emergency help, we can respond, and provide that help.

Today, our fire department not only has approximal 15 volunteers on the roster, but we also provide 24/7 coverage with career staff, that consist of 14 part-time firefighters, and 5 full-time firefighters, to help cover times that our volunteers are out of the area working.

As your Fire Chief, I have a Vision for the future of this organization. I want to see it grow into an organization that provides the best possible emergency services to our citizens, as you deserve that type of service. I also know that we cannot tax you to death, so we are also working to find a happy medium to providing the highest quality service, that stays within financial reason, and is affordable to you, our citizens.
